Today the Beyond Batten Disease Foundation (BBDF) is advancing a treatment for Batten disease discovered by BBDF-funded researchers. The FDA has approved a clinical trial in patients to test BBDF-101, a therapy proven to slow the progression of CLN3 disease in Batten models. BBDF also continues to fill the gaps in funding, create tools and resources to elevate the science and bring together affected families and other Batten organizations to have the biggest impact.
