Beyond Batten Disease Foundation is always looking for smart, motivated, dynamic individuals passionate about making a difference to join our fight against Batten disease. Each semester (fall, spring, summer), BBDF offers  internships for college students interested in learning more about nonprofit management, scientific program management and strategic planning in medical research.

Development Internship: The development intern position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further his or her skills and experience in fundraising, communications, public relations, event planning and nonprofit management.

Scientific Internship: Interns interested in program development in medical research will develop skills and understanding on how to identify promising basic (molecular biology), pharmaceutical and medical research and shepherd those discoveries into strategic plans to combat disease.
