Wayne has worked in the energy industry for over twenty-four years trading and marketing a variety of energy commodities.  He currently serves as President of Cerebrum Capital Management, Inc. a company he established to focus on domestic and international transactions involving crude oil, natural gas and their constituents.  Prior to Cerebrum, Wayne worked for a variety of companies involved in the trading and marketing of wholesale and retail electricity and natural gas, as well as, ethanol and biodiesel.

Wayne and his wife Missy established HOPE: The Will Herndon Research Fund in the Summer of 2009 upon receiving their oldest son’s diagnosis of Juvenile Batten Disease.  Since that time, they have hosted two major fundraisers each year in The Woodlands, Hope on the Green, a golf tournament held each Spring; and Hope Under the Stars, an evening gala in the Fall; with the focus to raise awareness for Juvenile Batten Disease and more importantly, raise money to fund research to slow and ultimately stop the progression of the disease.

He graduated from Rice University with a Bachelor’s degree in Managerial Studies. Wayne and Missy live in The Woodlands with their three boys.  In his spare time, Wayne enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and volunteering as a board member for the Woodlands Youth Rugby Club.
